Context: Speedometer, Odometer, and trip have been broken since early 2014. This morning, I set my phone running Waze in front of the guages, and after about 2 miles, I noticed the needle sitting at 60. Along with the odometer and trip turning, this was a nice surprise. Now if I can get those two lights off, that would be great(back door is locked and closed, parking brake is so off that it doesn’t work.)

i was driving along the other night and realised something was wrong with my dash cluster, my srs light was off (been on for the last 3 years almost)

tap the cluster, back on it came. i was hoping the globe had burn’t out but alas no.

(take your globes out to fix the issue)

Could also be the brake fluid level sensor causing the brake light.

On most cars, the handbrake and doors use the same kind of switch, something like that:

Open door, unscrew the sole screw holding it, replace it, or clean the contact inside the switch. Should work. Alternatively(depending on how it works) just unplug it or connect it to ground.
It’s a 5 minute fix.
Same thing for the handbrake, but you’ll have to remove the console for that.

Last I checked, the level was fine. And that’s been since the light has decided to always shine.

Nah, the back door/tailgate is broken. It won’t open. It’s a mess of electrical work that I don’t want to do.

Just remove the bulb then :)

Could be a bad sensor, though.

Could be. Could be why there was a wire unplugged from the booster, and it started this after I plugged it in.
